Join us for a Community Meeting on August 11

August 6, 2013

CommMtg8-11A few weeks ago, more than 120 marriage supporters joined us for a planning meeting — and together, we charted a course to win marriage equality for all Hawaii families.

Today, our local, homegrown campaign is stronger than it’s ever been. As lawmakers are considering whether to call a special session to debate marriage equality, we’re uniting as a community and making sure our legislators know why marriage matters.

The next several weeks are going to be critical for this campaign. We need hundreds of marriage supporters to get involved right now as legislators weigh the possibility of a special session. That’s why we’re hosting another community meeting this Sunday, August 11.

At our first community meeting, supporters like you offered up countless ideas for effective advocacy and grassroots activism. Now we want to build on those strategies at Sunday’s community meeting, hosted by the ACLU of Hawaii.
