Congresswoman Colleen Hanabusa urges “swift, decisive action” to pass marriage equality in HawaiiAugust 23, 2013
Congresswoman Colleen Hanabusa is calling for “swift, decisive action” from Governor Abercrombie and state legislators to pass marriage equality in Hawaii:
Elected officials across the state have spoken out for marriage equality in recent days, including Honolulu City Councilmember Stanley Chang, Rep. Nicole Lowen, Rep. Della Au Bellati, Rep. Cynthia Thielen, Senator Will Espero, and Honolulu City Councilmember Ikaika Anderson, and all four members of Hawaii’s Congressional delegation.
Congresswoman Hanabusa has been a long-time supporter of the freedom to marry and we thank her for speaking out at this crucial moment for marriage in Hawaii.
